Brett is the youngest of the legal advocates for Olson Law Firm. He was born and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He graduated from Emporia State University, Cum Laude, in 2010, where he pitched for the Hornets Baseball Team on a scholarship. He is currently attending Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating in May 2013. His honors in law school include Law Review, multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, Dean’s List and Faculty Honor Roll every semester and Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. He was awarded the Oklahoma Bar Association Energy and Natural Resources Law Section Scholarship for 2012 which is given to the top oil and gas student. His paper entitled “The Slow Road to Hebble and the Aftermath of the Energy Litigation Reform Act,” was selected for the Charles Nesbitt Writing Competition as well as by the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society for the best paper on an oil and gas topic. Brett was also among a select few to receive a Pro Bono Service award from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
After graduation Brett will join the Olson Law Firm and focus his practice on general civil litigation.
When he is not at work or school you will find Brett hanging out with friends or family at local sporting events or concerts. He also enjoys going to the lake in the summer.
